The most thought provoking class (I hope) was one titled <em>Social Constructs of Information</em> based, at least in part, on the writings of Antonio Gramsci and his theory (or theories) of cultural hegemony. The first caller was a former student of mine from Arizona, and I had put her up to making the call, fearing that unless <em>somebody</em> started, nobody was going to call in</p>
